The long-awaited International Festival “Tulip Heritage” is in full swing, and a special atmosphere fills the air!

As part of the festival, you’ll witness a unique national competition in mare milking.

Prize fund — 1,000,000 tenge.

Watch a remarkable contest between esteemed mothers and graceful women as they showcase their skills in milking mares. Taste freshly drawn saumal (fresh mare’s milk) and observe the process of making fragrant, frothy bal kumys (fermented mare’s milk).

You’ll also have the chance to take part in the ancient Kazakh ritual — Kymyzmuryndyk!

Kymyzmuryndyk is a sacred tradition for the Kazakh people — a spring celebration of nature’s renewal. It marks the first tasting of kumys, a drink believed to have powerful healing properties.
